Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time through the app's settings menu under "Account Settings" > "Delete Account". You can also contact us at support@unwireapp.com to request account deletion.
What devices does Unwire support?
Unwire is available for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. We recommend running the latest OS version for the best experience.
How accurate is the screen time tracking?
Our screen time tracking uses platform APIs (Screen Time on iOS, Digital Wellbeing on Android) to provide accurate usage statistics. The accuracy depends on your device's capabilities and permissions granted to the app.
Are the assessments scientifically validated?
Our assessments are based on validated scientific tools including Dr. Kimberly Young's Internet Addiction Test (IAT), the Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS), and the Social Media Disorder Scale based on DSM-5 criteria. However, these assessments are for informational and self-awareness purposes ONLY and do not constitute medical diagnosis or advice. Results should not be used for clinical decision-making.
Can Unwire replace therapy or professional help?
Absolutely not. Unwire is a wellness and educational tool ONLY, not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not provide mental health services.
